Is it permissible to invocate Al mighty Allah By the words “AAH” & “AH” part- 05
“AAH” means Allah in Aramaic
Language.
(1.4) Most of the invocations we are used with are
in Arabic Language. But the invocations
are not confined to only Arabic Language.
We say “NAYANE” In Tamil as we say “Yaa Alllah” in Arabic. Also we say “Oh! God” in English. In the same way “AAH” is the term of Aramaic
Language for the term Allah in Arabic. As
well as the word “EEL” is the term of Hebrew language for the term Allah in
Arabic. If the term “AAH” means Allah in
Aramaic language what is going to harm if a person invoke Almighty Allah by
that word?.
The
terms “YAAH” and “HAH” also Aramaic words for the same word Allah. Imaam Ibnu Khazeers Thafseer has stated that
Prophet Moosa (sal) was praying by the word “AAHIYA”, “SHARAHIYA” that means
“Yaa Haiyu Yaa Kaiyoom” in Arabic. The
same fact is given in Ibnu Abee Harthem through Abdullah (rali) as when
Almighty Allah asked Prophet Moosa (sal) to go to Firoun (Pharaoh) he
questioned Almighty Allah what I should tell at his presence. Then it was told to him to tell him Almighty
Allah is “AAHIYA” and “SHARAHIYA” which means He is ever living and enliving. This meaning is given by Imaam Ahmashie (rah)
(Ibnu Khazeer 5/296, Musnad Ibnu Abee Shaibaa – 97,119., Abuthaahir Al Dhaarul
Khuthni 0 59,. Addurul Mansoor – 5/580., Al mathalibul Aliyyah – 10/109.)
Accusations and clarifications
1. Accusation: Those
who invoke by the word “AAH” perish the holy name of Almighty Allah making it a
term of moaning of patient’s dishonouring its magnificent, where they are
guided to use only the names given in the holy Quraan or in the hadees.
Clarification: The
great saint Saiyid Ahmed Wafaa Al Shazulee (rah) pointed out to the version of
Holy Quraan (the most beautiful names belong to God. So call on him by them. But, shun such men as used profanity in his
names. For what they do they will soon
be requited. Al Aaraaf `180)
According
to interpretations of the Holy Quraan there are many names belongs to Almighty
Allah given in the Holy Quraan, hadeeds and in the true religions revealed by
Almighty Allah. The hadees (Almighty
Allah has ninety nine (99) names) enlists ninety nine (99) beautiful
names. Some other names such as “HANNAAN
and MANNAAN” are mentioned in some other hadees. His names “GHAREEB, MUHEETH, SAREEH, AHAD,
AHKHAMUL HAKEMEEN, KHAIRUL FASILEEN, ZUL ARSHI, ZUTH THAULI and ZUL KUWWATHI
are given in the Holy Quraan. The names
“AAH”, “EEL” “HAYA” and “HAH” are his names given in other true religions. So nobody can confine the names of Almighty
Allah without a proper prove from the holy Quraan or hadees.
