Is it permissible to invocate Al mighty Allah By the words “AAH” & “AH” part- 06

Is it permissible to invocate Al mighty Allah By the words “AAH” & “AH” part- 06

A legal point.

According to the constituents of the Islamic jurisprudence
there are Two (2) types of commandments in the Holy Quraan.  They are 1.            INFINITE   2.  CONFINED.  The commandment of invoking Almighty Allah is infinite.  This will not be confined unless by an interim from the Holy Quraan or hadees.  Nobody is authorised to confine an infinite without a valid interim.  This basic rule applies to the Zikr invocations as quoted by the great professor Sheih Ali Jummah – the grand Mufthi of Al Dhiyaar Al Misriyyah – Egypt.

Some Islamic scholars have stated that Almighty Allah has numerous names that belong to different categories of his creatures as indicated by the version of the Holy Quraan (the seven havens and earth and all beings therein declare his glory.  There is not a single thing but celebrate his praise. And yet yee understand not how they declare his glory.  Verily he is oft forbearing, most forgiving. Al Isra 44).

The following hadees obviously clarifies that Almighty Allah has more names other than the ninety nine (99) names given in the specific hadees.  Prophet Muhammad (sal) prayed as “Oh! Allah I pray thee by all the names that thee havth nameth thy self, Oh! By the names thee havth chosen in thy super natural knowledge. (This prayer given previously).

The word “AAH” may be a name of Allah taught by him to one of his loved saints – spiritual leaders.  In turn he may have taught it to his followers.  Also the rightness and correctness of that word “AAH” being a name of Allah is further established by the hadees of Aaish (rali) – (given previously).  This hadees is under the code of HASSENUN LI GHIRIHEE according to Al Azeezy (rali) and listed under “layeef” category by scholar Mohamed Al Banei (Rah), not a fabricated one.

1.    Accusation:         Invoking Almighty Allah by the word “AAH” contradicts with the hadees narrated by Abuthar (rali) “Our beloved Prophet (sal) said, Almighty Allah likes sneezing.  He dislikes yawning.  So don’t say “AAH” “AAH” when you yawn.  As Satan laughs at you” – Thirmizi.

Clarification        If one can understand the difference between shouting “AAH” “AAH” when yawning wide- opening the mouth mannerlessly and invoking the Almighty Allah by the word “AAH” “AAH” this accusation will not come up.  One who reads a hadees must apprehend its ideal meaning.

2.     Accusation:           According to the Shafee school one who performs a Salath prayer must not spell any foreign words while praying.  If it happens so at least by one letter that gives a meaning such as “KI”, “RA” and “AAH”, his prayers will be nullified.

Clarification:       This depends on the intention of the performer of Salaath.  If he spells “AAH” with the intention of glorifying Almighty Allah, knowing that it is a name of Allah, that will not harm the prayer according to the same Shafi school, if it occurs uncontrollably du to deep piety and devotion it will be exempted.  If he spells so with other meanings intentionally, then the salaath prayer will be nullified.

Salaath prayers have its specific recitals for each of its positions.  The performer of salaath prayer must stick to them.  There is no room for him to spell any other words other than the described recitals and supplications.  We don’t encourage anyone to invoke by the word “AAH” or any other word  while performing salaath prayers.  We forwarded this clarification just to clarify the said accusation.

3.    Accusation:         The Zikr “AAH” and “AH” are found only in Fassiyyah Branch of Shaazuliyyah Order.  That Zikr does not belong to its root – Shathuliyya Thareeqa.

Clarification:       Founders of Thareeqas who are great saints have arranged the invocations of their orders in accordance with the rulings of Islamic Shareeah based on the Holy Quraan, Hadees, Ijmaah and Khiyaas.  A certain Zikr found in a Thareeka may not be found in another.  As well as a certain Zikr found in a branch of a Thareeka may not be found in its root.  There are no provisions to argue that a branch of a Thareeka should hold only what its root holds.  Founders of Thareekas and its branches are great saints and high handed scholars.  Followers have firm and stern faith on them.  Their faith and belief in the Thareekas can not be shaken by these types of baseless accusations and dubiosities.

Finally we give here under the versions of Imaam Ibnu Atha Ullah Al IsQuandhari (rali)  – his full name Thajuddheen Abul Fadhl Ahamed Bin Mohamed Bin Abdul Careem Ibnu Athaullah Al IsQuuandhari (rali). His Sheikh is His holiness Abu Abbas Al Mursi (rali) – first 1st Khaleefa of His Highness Abul Hassen Ali Ashshazulee(rali).  His pupils 1.  Sheikh Thakeekdheen Al Subki (rali) 2.  Sheikh Ibnul Muballak (rali).  His position is the second leader of the Shazuleeyyah Order.  His books 1.  Lathaiful Minan  2.  Al Quasdhul Mujarradh 3.  Aththanweer  4.  Usool Mukhadhdheemaathul Wusool  5.  Al Thareequl Jaaddadh 6.  Thajul Aroose 7.  Mifthahul Falaah  8.  Al Hikm Al Atha-eeyyah 9.  Unwaanuth thaufeeq.  This great scholar has authorized in his book Mifthahul Falaah page No: 23 the terms of Zikr, “HOO”, “LA”, “A”, “AH” or a sound without a letter even.  This authorization which complies with all constituents of Islamic jurisprudence is the legal testimony with in our Thareeka for the followers of our Thareeka – Shaazuleeyyah Order.

Supplication

May Almighty Allah bless us all to invocate him through out our life, obeying  His  commandments in the holy quran, and complying with the teachings of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (sal) under the shade and guidance of spiritual leaders of our Shazuliyya order. Aamin.Walhamdhu lillahi Rabbil Aalamin.
